How to get to Subirats

By train

Renfe Rodalies Station is just 10 minutes from the town of Lavern and 30 minutes from the town of Sant Pau d’Ordal. If you want to visit Subirats from Barcelona, the most convenient way to do so is by using the commuter trains. More information at Rodalies de Catalunya.

Upon arrival at the train station, practice sustainable mobility and rent a bicycle from EnobicingPenedès to get around town.

Renfe commuter trains
RENFE via the R-4 line (Manresa and Terrassa – Barcelona – Sants Vicenç de Calders) has commuter trains on a pleasant route that goes through the towns of Penedès. The journey Barcelona – Lavern-Subirats is 50 minutes, with trains passing through every hour on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends.

By bus

In Subirats you will find three intercity lines to get around the municipality by bus and two intercity lines that connect the municipality with Barcelona. The main bus stops are in the towns of Ordal, Lavern and Sant Pau d’Ordal.

By car

Subirats is in the Alt Penedès region, halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona. Due to its prime geographical location, it is perfectly connected by the AP-7, the N-340 and the C-15 transit hub. The nearby towns are Vilafranca del Penedès and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú (seaside), Igualada and Manresa (mountains).

Take the AP-7 Mediterranean Motorway (exit 27) or the N-340 towards Tarragona. Approximate journey time: 40 minutes.
